82nd Wellshire Four-Ball Championship
Labor Day Weekend
August 30- September 1 2025
Who: Amateur players. You don’t have to be a Denver Resident to play! All ages are welcome! No GHIN handicap required.
When: Saturday, Sunday & Monday, August 30- September 1, 2025. Registration ends 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Limited space available. Late entries will NOT be accepted. Once the field is full, players will be added to the wait list.
Format: 3-day, 18-hole four-ball tournament. This is a two-person best ball; Each player competes with their own ball and the low score on each hole will be recorded for the team.
Tee Times: This is a double tee start with 2 waves. Players choose their tee times for Saturday and Sunday upon registration. Players are flighted and re-paired by gross 2 day score for Monday’s round. Higher scores will tee off in the morning wave, lower scores will tee off in the afternoon wave.
- Wave 1: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Wave 2: 12:00 PM -1:50 PM
Tees: Players are required to play from the same tees throughout the event. For approximate yardages view the scorecard online.
- Men = Bronze tees
- Women = Black tees
- Senior Men (62+) = Gold tees
Flights: Teams are divided into 10 equal flights after round 2 based on 2-day gross team score.
Prizes: Prizes will be given for the TOP GROSS finishers within all flights. This is a CGA sanctioned points event.
- Contests: Closest to the pin on all par-3 holes, all 3 rounds.
- Skins will be offered all 3 days as a package. (Optional)
Registration: All registrations are online. Entry fee is $400/player | $800/team. Entries are NOT accepted in the pro shops.
*Entry fee includes green fees for all 3 days, Food/Drink coupon & closest to the hole contests. Carts can be reserved upon registration or purchased the day of the tournament in the pro shop. If there are multiple riders in the same group, you will be paired due to limited availability of carts. If you choose to ride as a single there is an additional single rider cart fee.
